Milo, Mom, and the Magic on the Trail Coming Soon

Something I’ve been quietly working on is almost ready to share with the world, and I can hardly believe I’m typing these words.

Milo, Mom, and the Magic on the Trail is a children’s picture book I wrote and illustrated, my very first. It’s the story of a little boy named Milo and his mom as they set out on a camping trip to Tanglewood State Park. Along the way, Milo discovers the wonder waiting on the trail to their campsite, a crimson bird in a tree, rain on the trail, and a stream just wide enough to jump over. The sound and sights of a world that feels big and full of wonder.

But more than anything, it’s about what it feels like to stand in the middle of something big and beautiful and know that the person you love most is right there beside you.

I wrote it for children ages 3–7. But honestly? I think it’s for anyone who remembers what it felt like to see the world through wide, wondering eyes, and for the mamas walking beside their little ones, making that world feel safe.

It’s coming very soon. I can’t wait for you to meet Milo.
