I would like to share the inspiration about this picture with you.
Psalm 27:14
"Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous wait patiently for the LORD."
To wait for God means to wait with eager anticipation. Not a passive wait but rather waiting with confidence that God's timing and provision will come at the right time. A deep-seated belief in God's faithfulness and sovereignty.
To be strong is a physical strength, emotional courage, and spiritual resilience. The act of strengthening oneself. To be this kind of strong comes with the help from God.
To be courageous comes from relying on God for our needs.
We need God, He strengthens us for everyday life. No matter where we are in life, life can be hard, and we cannot do this without Him.
I have a few dreams that I want to accomplish in my lifetime. I've shared these dreams with God. I just want to jump in and go full steam with the dream, but in my waiting, God is saying, just keep on writing for now. You see God knows when the right time is to go full steam ahead. He knows when the idea can thrive and flourish into what He has in mind.
To wait patiently for God with expectation that God Knows the right time is hard. I do not have the patience to wait for things to happen. But in the wait, I keep on spending time with God, He teaches me, gives me insight and wisdom. This is how I get stronger daily. In this waiting is where I learn to trust God and build my faith in His timing and promises.
So, for now I will keep on writing and wait in readiness, with expectation that God will one day say, Linda it is time.
Luke 13:8-9
"Sir the man replied leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year fine."....
The word fertilize is kopria in Greek, it means dung or manure. Metaphorically kopria is used to describe something of little value or worth, often in the context of spiritual teachings. This reflects this dual nature - valuable for growth but often considered refuse.
We must work with God to “fertilize our soil". often, we say to ourselves I am just too busy today, I have so much to do. Yet when we do spend time with God, everything does seem to fall in place, and we have time to do all things in our day. The perfect example of spending time with God is in the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve walked with God every day in the cool of the day. Another great example is Enoch, Enoch greatest accomplishment is, that he walk with God. (Genesis 5:24)
To bear fruit; the word bear is poieó in Greek, and means to do, make, act or work. From creating and producing to performing and executing. This kind of bear is a reflection of one's faith and relationship with God. If he asks you to do something, do you have enough faith to do it?
Fruit is karpos and is used to describe the results or outcomes of actions, particularly in spiritual or moral context. Fruit symbolizes spiritual growth, productivity, and the result of living in accordance with God's will for you.
God gave us all a gift or talent unique to you. The way I see this, as an artist myself. There is a lot of artist in the world, but each and everyone of them have a unique way how they draw, paint or do digital art. And that uniqueness is your specialty/gift from God.
(I am just using creativity as an example, there is many more examples and gifts than art alone)
To grow the gift God gave you, and to use it the way He intended, means you have to dream with God and allow Him to "fertilize" that dream, and then step out into the world when He says it is time.
Walk with God, talk to Him daily, that way your dream will flourish and grow into something beautiful.
